Stationsquare East Utrecht

As part of the CU2030 project lot of construction works are already going on in this area, including a brand new train station, the largest and busiest in the Netherlands, and a new municipal office center. Our project is about creating a new connection to the old city center in the shape of a raised square. It also includes the design of all the surrouding public spaces, a large transparent canopy and a parking facility for 12.500 bicycles. We also made proposals to improve the connection of the Hoog Catharijne shopping center to the public space an we made the urban plan for future real estate developments around the square.
