“Sustainable Schools” research project finished

Last week, EHA’s Koen Klijn has handed over the end report of our research project “Sustainable Schools” to representatives of the municipal government of Lelystad. Aim of the project was to investigate how several different packages of measures can add to the realisation of more sustainable, healthier school buildings. Lelystad has an important task in the next few years to realise a large number of new schools and community centres. City council decided to ask EHA to prepare this report as a basis for thorough decision making on topics such as technical programs of demands and budgets. Studies were carried out in collaboration with DGMR, Ingenieursbureau Multical en WHR Installatieadviseurs. Right now, EHA is working on ways to render the research data accessible to school directors and government officials throughout the Netherlands.
