50th edition of Chepos

CHEOPS, the association for engineering students at Eindhoven University of Technology, celebrated the 50th edition of its magazine Chepos. This anniversary issue was themed 'Eindhoven' and contains interviews with alumni of various specializations. This initiative led to interesting articles about among others Sjoerd Soeters, Wiel Arets, Ingrid de Boer and Joost Ector. The day before the rousing release party CHEOPS organized an "Aan Tafel Met ...", a special dinner where students could meet remarkable alumni. Here was next to Joost also John Habraken present, the founder of the faculty who performed in the sixties and seventies with his pioneering studies on flexibility and adaptable housing.
This 50th edition of Chepos also prompted an election of the most beautiful building in Eindhoven. Between Eindhoven classics like the Lichttoren, the Witte Dame, the Evoluon and the Van Abbemuseum is the MetaForum - designed by our office - on a shared fifth place. A great honor!
