September 2020 In this short video Joost Ector explains about the design for American chemical giant Dupont's new building at Leiden Bio Science Park.
The building has a transparant character to stimulate knowledge development through the exchange of infomation, creativity and inspiration. The new research & development center provides 4000sqm of state-of-the-art laboratory space and 2500sqm of open plan offices, of which a large part allows for transformation into labs in the future. At the heart of the building is a large atrium for casual interaction; directly accessible from the atrium is a fully equipped meeting center. The building was designed in close collaboration wit hits future users and builder/developer Dura Vermeer. Stay tuned for more photography in the coming weeks.
