November 2015 The Victor J. Koningsbergergebouw, a brand new education centre for the faculties of Science, Geosciences and Biomedical Sciences at Utrecht University, has opened its doors. The grand opening took place on November 4 and was performed by the Vice Chairman of the Executive Board, Anton Pijpers, along with three descendants of Victor J. Koningsberger.
The building forms part of an education cluster in the northwest corner of the university campus that will make the university a more attractive place for students, teaching staff and researchers by offering them an inspiring and well-equipped work environment and meeting place. We are therefore very proud that the laboratories, lecture theatres and study landscapes provided within the building are already very well used.
See our project page for more information and some great pictures.
Sky Fotos made a movie which gives a great impression of the building.
Also the movie made by Utrecht University is worth while.
