November 2014 On November 10, the Da Vinci College organized a workshop for staff and students to design the six 'clubhouses' of the new school building. The new Da Vinci is ‘a city in miniature' with courtyards, a boulevard, terraces, a theater and an enclosed garden. The various educational clusters have their home base in 'clubhouses' and are connected to their own practice areas such as industry, shopping and health.
At the beautiful location of an old gin factory in Roosendaal students and teachers were given the opportunity to build six full size clubhouses. With all kinds of materials they created furniture and meeting areas. They thought with great enthusiasm about atmosphere, layout, security and privacy.
The construction of the Da Vinci College started on 7 November. More information about the new Da Vinci College on nieuwedavinci.nl
September 2014 The second school year in the new Minkema College started in the first week of September. »
