July 2014 In Leiden the scaffolding of music center 'The Nobel Bros.' is being removed to reveal the building’s restored monumental façade.
The new music center 'The Nobel Bros.' is being created in the middle of an historic block of buildings in Leiden town center. EHA’s design seeks the harmony between old and new. The monumental part of the former factory is transformed into the entrance and foyer. The brick façade is restored by contractor Du Prie Building & Development retaining the original details. All original materials are reused as much as possible. The wooden windows are glazed with the original layout and the entrance doors still have their original details. Also the shape of the hood with wooden frames is maintained.
The nexts months the reduction will be finished. The first concert in 'The Nobel Bros.' is scheduled on December 6th this year.
