August 2013 The Dutch police force has been reorganised and became the new National Police on January 1st 2013. The former twenty-five police departments were joined together in one organisation with one leadership and ten regional branches. An existing office building in The Hague was chosen to become the new headquarters. For this purpose the building needs to be modified and remodelled. A team consisting of Ector Hoogstad Architecten, Deerns (M&E engineering), IMd (construction engineering) and IGG (building cost consultancy) was selected to take on the task.
