November 2014 The preliminary design of the new Zernikeborg on the campus of the University of Groningen is finished. The 200 meter long zigzag shaped Zernikeborg consists of five layers and a sixth installation layer on top. The new building with offices, classrooms and work spaces will soon be the workplace for employees, researchers, master and bachelor students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. The design has been realized by an active participation of the client and its future users.
