April 2016 Pop venue The Noble Bro’s in Leiden has won the Popular Choice Award as part of the prestigious Architizer A + Awards. The Noble Bro’s was one of five finalists in the race for the Jury Award and the Popular Choice Award in the category Architecture + Urban Transformations.
The Popular Choice Award went after a thrilling three week voting period to The Noble Bro’s; a monumental factory complex that was transformed into a state-of-the-art pop venue where old and new, crude and fine are combined in a subtle way. The venue is now a popular cultural hotspot for Leiden and its surrounding areas. The Jury Award was won by Rogers Partners for the Henderson + Hopkins School in Baltimore.
