The 30.000 square metre Faculty of Applied Sciences in Delft contains a wide range of educational and laboratory facilities for the departments of Bio-nanotechnology, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology. The building offers high-tech research facilities such as Low-vibration floors (up to VC-F), dust-free labs and labs with very stable temperatures. The two main building volumes, both designed around green roof patios, are joined through a large atrium at the heart of the building.
